Perspective

  Sometimes inspiration doesn’t strike.

Sometimes we don’t have the right words to say.

Sometimes we don’t know why, but we just have to stop and cry.

These moments are moments that define us.
These are the moments when we look at our circumstances and decide if we are going to let them make or break us.

Everyone has their own battles to fight, everyone loses something in this world.

What makes a person remarkable is how they pick themselves up no matter how hard they have been knocked down.

We all have rage, sorrow, longing, passion, joy, fear, and sadness, it is easy to become a slave to our own emotions, but when you become a slave of your own making, what’s worth fighting for anymore? If you let your emotions rule, you willingly give up your freedom, to live a life of slavery.

Overcome.

Overcome what you feel and rejoice for what you have. Give yourself a reason to keep fighting. Look through the dark and find something bright to hold
onto.

Don’t let bad moments control a good life.

Standup against your emotions, take a pause and breath, cry if it helps, but then get back up and keep living for the good.

Make a decision to find the good in every situation.

And when the bad hits, just praise in the storm, knowing that tomorrow will be a better day. Change your perspective to recive a better day.

flower girl at the fair

The smell of deep fried dough in the air was all I needed, the wind wasn’t blowing so the air was thick with that ooey gooey, gimme gimme, mouthwatering smell (Deep fried Oreo’s has always been a favorite of mine). Josh and I walked through the front gate hand and hand (well... more of his hand being held against his will as I drag him everywhere as fast as my legs would allow) we explored for moments, but soon after Josh had purchased the wristbands for us to ride to rides we were off, first stop on our list was the zipper. We walked up to this huge cage like thing that looks like dog kennels suspended in the air and spinning while rotating in a circle

After the zipper we ran (okay lets be real, I skipped) over to the Tilt a Whurl, because gravity is lame, and we wanted to defy it. We went around the whole fair laughing and riding all the rides they had to offer till I felt sick, then we scadoodled on over to the event section where there was lots of rucks coming from. As we approached we saw a big riding ring with a bull inside.

Between the bull riders, the bull rangers, and the barrel racers, the air no longer smelled thick of fried dough but was foggy with kicked up dust and smelled of horses and dirt. It was an amazing show, defiantly one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. As we walked back to our car we stopped for a few of the games and Josh won me two stuffed bears. All in all it was an amazing night to visit the fair, I’m sad to see it leave town but I can’t wait till next year when I can go again!
